LAKEWOOD, CO- The Division Two College Sports Communicators (D2CSC) released their week three Regional Rankings, and Colorado Christian found themselves ranked for the first time this season in the 10th spot in the South Central Region.
CCU is off to a strong start to the season, heading into RMAC play this weekend with a 4-2 record overall. Two of those wins came over nationally ranked opponents, including a recent victory over #13 Eckerd College this past weekend. With conference play approaching, the Cougars have already taken down a regional opponent in UT Tyler, and they will look to start conference play strong as they travel to New Mexico Highlands and CSU Pueblo for their first two RMAC competitions. With three RMAC foes ranked ahead of the Cougars, the team will have plenty of opportunity to improve their ranking as the season goes on.
With a pair of wins in a row, the Cougars will look to extend that streak to three as they travel to New Mexico Highlands for their RMAC opener on December 1 with tipoff slated for 5 p.m. MST.
