LAKEWOOD, CO- The latest South Central Region Rankings are out, and after taking down Mines and MSU Denver this past weekend, the Cougars have reentered the rankings at #10.
Colorado Christian began their weekend with a massive victory, taking down Colorado School of Mines 71-68, a team that sits at #4 in the regional polls currently. They followed their big win with another victory on senior night, taking down MSU Denver 66-52. After the win over Mines, the Cougars now have wins over four teams ahead of them in the regional polls, including #2 Colorado Mesa, #4 Mines, #5 UT Tyler and #9 UCCS.Â
The Cougars have already clinched a spot in the RMAC Tournament, and they will look to enter it with momentum after a pair of matchups at Black Hills State and South Dakota Mines March 1 and 2.
