LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced their Academic All-Conference First Team on Thursday, and the national champs placed a pair of golfers on the list for their achievements in the classroom.
Senior
Dylan Arthur closes his time at CCU with one more honor as he achieved a 3.51 grade-point average in economics. The Texas native was stellar all year, finding his groove at the Regional tournament to claim the title before going 2-1 in match play to help his team to their first ever national title. Arthur balanced all that with his schoolwork, showing what a true student-athlete looks like.
Ben Fowler earns his first academic all-conference nod after achieving a 3.82 gpa in the difficult major of engineering. The junior played well throughout the season, throwing down strong individual scores all year. Fowler balanced his play on the course and his schoolwork in excellent fashion to show it is possible to excel on both the course and in the classroom.
Congratulations to
Dylan Arthur and
Ben Fowler for being named First Team Academic All-Conference!
