LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) released their academic All-RMAC team for Men's Golf, and for the second straight year,
Peyton Jones has earned the honor for his efforts on the course and in the classroom.
The senior has earned an impressive 3.75 Grade Point Average as he majors in Finance, earning a spot on the All-RMAC academic team for the second straight season.
Jones has had his best year as a college golfer in his senior year, reaching new heights as a contender in every tournament. The native of Roswell, New Mexico claimed his first collegiate victory at the Shootout at PGA Riviera Maya in Mexico, and he followed with another victory in the fall in Hawaii at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate. He closed the regular season in the spring with his third win of the season in Pueblo at the Sam Proal Insurance Invite. Jones ranks 46th nationally and 7th in the region as he earned a scoring average of 71.7 throughout 12 tournaments. He closed his incredible career by leading his team back to the NCAA National Championships for the third straight season, helping them advance to match play and winning his matchup by two strokes.
