LAKEWOOD,CO- The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced their Cobalt All-America Scholars on Thursday, and after maintaining excellence in the classroom and on the course, Dylan Arthur, Adam Duncan and Peyton Jones have achieved the prestigious distinction. 

To be eligible for a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their Associate's Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, under 78.0 in NAIA, and under 77.0 in NJCAA, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

Arthur closes a storied career at CCU with yet another award as he maintained a 3.51 gpa in Economics. A First Team All-Conference Selection, West/South Central Region Individual Champion and National Champion, Dylan has much to be proud of as he ends his time as a player for the Cougars, helping them set a culture of excellence in the classroom and on the course. 

Duncan takes home All-America Scholar after he achieved a gpa of 3.27 in Kinesiology and Exercise Sciences. Duncan had a historic junior season, claiming 10th overall at the national championships, winning an RMAC individual title, taking home first team All-American honors at the championships and was one of five finalists for the Jack Nicklaus Golfer of the Year Award. He can now add All-America Scholar to a growing list of accolades as he enters his senior season. 

Jones earns his first All-America Scholar award after maintaining a strong gpa of 3.74 in Business Administration. A consistent force throughout the season for the Cougars, Peyton played his best golf when it counted most, winning his final match by 4 strokes against North Georgia to help bring home the schools' first ever National Title. As he enters his junior season at CCU, Jones has much more to come and is now an All-America Scholar.
