LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their week two golfer of the week honors on Thursday, and after a monumental victory at the National Championship Preview, Sungyeop Cho has earned the distinction for his individual title in Florida. 

Cho was excellent as he took part in the National Championship Preview on Monday in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida at the PGA National Resort. He began with a round one score of 65 on the par 71 course, firing off a pair of birdies on the front nine before heating up for five on the back to card the -6 round. He followed that up with a 68 as he sank another five birdies to claim the individual title by three strokes. The victory is significant in that he helped his team win among a field of top ranked teams that included the #1 Cougars and eight other teams in the top 14. Sungyeop took down defending National Player of the Year Leandro Mihaich from Oklahoma Christian as he continues to make a mark on DII golf following his first collegiate year at the junior college level last season.
