LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their Academic All-Conference teams on Thursday, and a trio of Cougars earned the distinction for their work in the classroom and on the course.
Mary Beth Doss claimed the honor after posting a 3.52 GPA in Health Sciences in her undergrad and a 4.0 in her leadership graduate certificate in her master's program. The senior posted a scoring average of 78.3 in 24 rounds of play as she ended her career at CCU well by leading her team back to the NCAA Regionals.
Kylee Hughes received the honor as she boasts a 3.97 Grade Point Average in Business. Hughes had a scoring average of 78.1 on the season in 22 rounds of action, claiming an impressive 6th place finish at the RMAC Championships as she helped her team to the Regional tournament for the second time in three years.
Anna Mettler garnered her first Academic All-RMAC distinction as she posted a perfect 4.0 GPA in Nursing. The Colorado Springs native had a scoring average of 83.1 as she played 18 total rounds in her sophomore campaign.
