Caleb Cole Named Director of Soccer

Lakewood, CO- After being a member of the Cougars staff for five and a half years, Colorado Christian is proud to announce Caleb Cole as the new Director of Soccer at CCU. Cole joined the program in February 2020 and served as the Men's Soccer Assistant Coach for two years, followed by Associate Head Coach for two years, before being named the Women's Soccer Head Coach in 2024.

Cole brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as he previously served as an assistant women's soccer coach at Westmont during the 2018 season before being elevated to the interim head coach during the early months of 2019 before his time at CCU. While at the NAIA school, he helped guide the Warriors to a 13-2-3 record and a berth in the conference title game.

He will now take over two programs he is very familiar with at CCU with help from assistant coaches, Zoe Sims and Jack Dickhausen for the 2025 season.

"I'm excited to serve as Director of Soccer and continue working with both the Men's and Women's Soccer programs at CCU," said Caleb Cole. "Over the past five and a half years, I've had the privilege of contributing to both programs in various roles, and I'm grateful to Jon Poag for entrusting me with this responsibility. I'm also thankful for our dedicated full-time assistant coaches, Jack Dickhausen and Zoe Sims."

"In our recruiting efforts, we are focused on identifying faith-driven student-athletes who are committed to academic excellence and ready to compete at a high level in NCAA Division II. Our staff is committed to building a nationally respected soccer program with Christ at the center of our identity and character development."

"Women's Soccer proved last fall that CCU can compete at a high level within the RMAC. We aim to build on that success by growing together—staff and players alike—year after year. I see tremendous potential within both programs and am eager to get started this fall."

We are excited to welcome Caleb Cole into this new role as Director of Soccer!
