LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their Preseason Coaches' Poll and Preseason All-RMAC list, and in the best conference in DII, the Cougars came in at #6 in the initial rankings as
Matthew Storer and
Klay Grant landed on the All-RMAC list for their efforts in 2024.
Storer was once again tremendous in the 2024 season as he won the first meet of the year and placed second at the highly competitive Lewis Crossover. Taking seventh at Regionals, Matt came prepared at the NCAA National Championships, blazing his way to a fourth place finish as he claimed All-America honors. In his final year of cross country, Storer will look to once again lead his team back to Nationals and claim a national title.
Grant started the year taking 6th in South Dakota before claiming 12th at the Lewis Crossover. The junior continued to perform at a high level as he headed to Regionals and helped his team to their fifth straight National Championships. 80th in the nation there capped a strong year as the now Senior will look to lead an experienced team back to Nationals and a title.
The Cougars begin their season at the UCCS XC Rust Buster on September 6 at Monument Valley Park in Colorado Springs. Congratulations to
