LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) released their men's cross country academic awards on Thursday, and
Matthew Storer and
Klay Grant have been named to the first team for their efforts in their studies and sport.
Storer earns his second straight first team nod after another tremendous year with the Cougars. With a 3.71 GPA in Business while earning his Bachelor of Arts, Matt has continued to excel with a 4.0 GPA as he works towards his Masters degree in Business Administration Economics. The reigning RMAC Male Scholar Athlete of the Year, Storer finished 4th at Nationals as he has now stacked up 10 All-American honors throughout his career at CCU.
Grant claimed a spot on the first team for the second straight year as he continues to perform well on the course and in the classroom. Boasting a 4.0 GPA in English, the Michigan native has been excellent as he won the Summit Award at the RMAC Championships in 2023. He helped his team make their fifth straight appearance at Nationals this season as they claimed 11th overall.
