LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their players of the week on Tuesday, and after a torrid weekend at the plate, Kat Hanson has earned her first honor of the season.

Hanson had one of the more consistent weeks at the plate you will see, going 9-14 in a four-game series at Mines for a .643 batting average over the weekend. The sophomore from Arizona brought the power as well, blasting a pair of homers and tallying 7 RBI on the weekend. Her best game came in game three of the series as she got to the Orediggers pitching for a 4-5 day in the batter's box with three RBI with a double and a run scored. With a quality on-base percentage of .667 and a slugging percentage of 1.143, Hanson led her team to a sweep on the road as her team improved to 20-0 in RMAC competition.
