Men's Basketball and the Colorado Christian University Athletic Department honors
Wayne McCullough for his outstanding, honorable, and loyal contributions to his team and school over the last four years.
Wayne McCullough hails from Hockley, TX and before CCU attended Rosehill Christian School where he achieved four years of varsity basketball and was named 1
st Team All State. McCullough will be graduating this spring from CCU with a degree in Business Administration, and a successful career in college basketball.
"Wayne has poured an enormous amount of time and energy into our program and has been a centerpiece of our growth over the last few years. We are excited to honor him this weekend at Senior Night (2/13), and want to say thanks to him and his family for all they have done for our program and the CCU community."-Coach
Kevin LubbersAchievements:- McCullough is the 5th player in CCU Men's Basketball History with 1000 points and 500 rebounds. (Brian Stamer, Justin Neuwhouse, Lance Goeddell, Brent Hobba)
- McCullough is the 3rd player in CCU History with 1000 points, 500 rebounds, and 100 steals. This adds him to the circle with Brian Stamer and Lance Goeddell who are both in the CCU Athletics Hall of Fame.
- McCullough has been a part of three consecutive RMAC tournaments in his career
- McCullough has grabbed 43 RMAC wins so far, which has him tied for the most ever wins by any CCU player in a four year span. He is anticipated to break that record as the season continues with five conference games left and post-season.
- McCullough has 65 wins so far in his TOTAL career and should also surpass the most total wins by any player in a four year span this season.
- McCullough participated in back to back NCCAA National Tournaments
- McCullough was a member of first ever NCCAA National Championship victory in CCU Men's Basketball
- If this season continues to finish strong McCullough will, for the first time in CCU Men's Basketball History, achieve three consecutive winning seasons
