Recapping Last Week

Colorado Christian split a pair of RMAC games. They opened the week with a Wednesday contest at Colorado School of Mines, with the Orediggers posting a 4-1 victory in Golden. Adrien Diez found the back of the net for the Cougars in the setback. On Sunday afternoon, a trio of Cougars found the back of the net in a 3-1 Sunday victory against MSU Denver. In the win Tobi Osifodunrin, Gabe Roloff and Liam Lakey registered a goal. 

The Weekend Implications

The deeper into RMAC play the Cougars get, the bigger the implications. With 11 conference schools sponsoring men's soccer, the top six schools will qualify for the league's postseason tournament in early November. With a 2-2 conference record, the Cougars have six points and are currently tied with CSU Pueblo and UCCS for the fifth spot. Regis currently has nine points with South Dakota Mines looking for their first RMAC win or tie. RMAC Standings

Head Coach - Brad Camp

Brad Camp will head into his third season at the helm for the Cougars in 2021. Camp was named the program's fourth head coach in December of 2018.

Camp, who brings a host of accolades to the school, joins the department after serving as the assistant coach at East Tennessee State for two seasons, during which he won a regular season conference championships.

The Tennessee native holds national B, C, D, E and Youth licenses in coaching education from the U.S. Soccer Federation. He also has goalkeeper level I and II licenses and Director of Coaching diplomas from the United Soccer Coaches.

Prior to joining the Buccaneers, Camp was an assistant coach at Maryville College as well as the head coach for the Knoxville Force of the National Premier Soccer League. Camp has also served as the boys director for the Alliance Development Centers for the Knoxville-based youth club, FC Alliance. In addition he also held the role as an assistant director for Tennessee's Olympic Development Program.

He played collegiately at Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) where he manned the left back position. During his senior campaign he was named a TranSouth Conference Scholar-Athlete.
