Recapping Last Week
The Cougars posted a pair of 1-0 shutout RMAC wins. On Friday afternoon a Silas Hess goal in the 70th minute proved to be enough offense while Michel Pinoncely made four saves en route to the victory. Less than 48 hours, Colorado Christian completed their undefeated weekend with a triumph against South Dakota Mines. A Ben Hess goal and a pair of Pinoncely saves were the difference.
The Weekend Implications
Colorado Christian has set themselves up for an RMAC tournament berth for the first time in school history. With a 4-2 league record (12 points), the Cougars are alone in third place in the conference standings. The top six teams will qualify for the tournament which begins on Thursday, Nov. 4. Goalkeeper of the Week
After posting back-to-back shutouts in just his fourth and fifth career starts,
Michel Pinoncely was named the RMAC's Goalkeeper of the Week. He started the weekend with four saves against Regis before stopping two shots in Sunday's win vs. South Dakota Mines.

Playing away from home hasn't really fazed the Cougars. Dating back to last season, Colorado Christian has won nine of their last 12 road contests. They only lost one road game last season (Colorado School of Mines) and have dropped just two of their six road games during the current campaign (Colorado School of Mines, Fort Lewis).

Head Coach - Brad Camp
Brad Camp will head into his third season at the helm for the Cougars in 2021. Camp was named the program's fourth head coach in December of 2018.
Camp, who brings a host of accolades to the school, joins the department after serving as the assistant coach at East Tennessee State for two seasons, during which he won a regular season conference championships.
The Tennessee native holds national B, C, D, E and Youth licenses in coaching education from the U.S. Soccer Federation. He also has goalkeeper level I and II licenses and Director of Coaching diplomas from the United Soccer Coaches.
Prior to joining the Buccaneers, Camp was an assistant coach at Maryville College as well as the head coach for the Knoxville Force of the National Premier Soccer League. Camp has also served as the boys director for the Alliance Development Centers for the Knoxville-based youth club, FC Alliance. In addition he also held the role as an assistant director for Tennessee's Olympic Development Program.
He played collegiately at Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) where he manned the left back position. During his senior campaign he was named a TranSouth Conference Scholar-Athlete.
