While the Colorado Christian men's soccer team had a successful season last year, the Cougars are digging even deeper this year striving to improve.
 
Even though expectations have been raised, the Cougars are keeping a level head. Head Coach Brad Camp explains, "We try to control what we can. Fitness, hard work, and being solid defensively. If we can do these things in each game, we can keep moving forward."
 
Success to the men's team means staying consistent, dedicated, determined, and an undeniable devotion to their team goals.

The meaning of success when the season wraps-up to Camp is described as, "Wanting to come through the non-conference schedule with a strong record, and we want to see if this group can push to make the tournament. It's tough because this program hasn't been there, but if we aren't talking about that then we don't have ambition. I just hope our men can rally around the concept of humility as we did last year. If we reach these goals it will be because of that."
 
Offense
 
There has been an increase of success in the men's offensive play and with new additions to the team alongside the returners, they are looking at incredible growth.

"We hope this year that we stay fit and clear of injuries because we have depth in our attacking spots. From the front Gabe Roloff, Adrian Diez, and Lucca Casci are fighting it out. Silas Hess, Tobi Osifodunrin, and Liam Lakey are doing the same out wide," Camp elaborates. "I am not going to be surprised to see our holding midfielders and outside backs chip in either. I am excited just talking about it!"

Defense

The Cougars have been known to have a solid defensive line that can be impenetrable at times. They have key leaders in the back but with the depth of the team they are looking at more shutouts this year.

When asked to comment about being hard to score on, Camp says, "You are so right. This is a challenge for us this year as we look to be a bit more on the front foot. Caiden Dixon, Chayce WIllet, and Grant Roloff are going to have to be the leaders and players we know, they can be front the heart of our defense. We hope that Caleb Dodge, David Solis, and Eli Elias can do the business out wide, and that Garrett Johnson and Eric Parra can push to get on the field too."
 
Goalkeeping
 
The athleticism in the net is hard to ignore. The Cougar's goalkeepers are notorious for game changing saves and leading their team to victory.
 
"Reflexes, fundamentals, and the fact he is such a mature person for his age," Camp explains why Max Collingwood is so solid in the net.
 
"We feel like we have a great goalkeeping department. Michel Pinoncely is a very good goalkeeper, Cameron Hoff is going to push all of them if we can get him back in training. Lastly, I give huge credit to Goalkeeper Coach Zach Satton for how this group does. He is such an important part of our staff," Camp exclaims.
