SAINT AUGUSTINE, FL- The Cougars closed the fall portion of their season in Florida at the Flagler Fall Slam October 24-25. CCU played to a seventh place finish amongst 18 teams competing in the tournament. 

ROUND ONE
Makenna Brown led on day one with a 77 including a pair of birdies at the Marsh Creek Country Club. Emily Donaldson followed with a 78 as she also picked up a pair of birdies. Raya Schulz carded a 79 and Courtney Andersson posted an 81 on the round. Kiersten Bryant closed with a 90 on day one of competition. 

Emily Doeden played as an individual at the tournament, carding an 89 in round one. 

ROUND TWO
In the second and final round of play on Tuesday, Donaldson shot a 77 to finish in a tie for 25th overall. Brown was strong yet again, posting a 79 to tie for 28th. Schulz carded a 78 as she came in a tie for 34th. Andersson shot a 79 to tie for 50th and Bryant tallied an impressive 73 to tie for 65th. 

Doeden finished with a 92 as she came in 96th place overall. 

As a team, CCU posted a total of 622 to take seventh place out of 18 teams competing. 

The Cougars fall season has now concluded and they will look to continue pushing again when play resumes in February. The fall had many highlights that included a season-opening win at the Swan Memorial and a second place finish at the Wasatch Invitational.
