DENVER, CO- Cross Country headed to nearby Wash Park in Denver as they took part in the RMAC Championships. After the 6k for the women and the 8k for the men, the teams took 9th and 10th place respectively. 

The women began first with the 6k, and Alysia Wagner led her team as the first to finish. The junior ran a time of 22:59.3 to claim 41st. Norah Thompson followed with a time of 23:33.4 to take 52nd, and Beth Pierantoni ran a 23:53.7 to finish in 57th. Next was Kaylie Bookout, running a time of 24:02.0 to claim 60th, and Benisa Ellis rounded out the top five with a mark of 24:35.3 for 69th overall. 

Next came the men in the 8k, and it was Isaac Roberts who led the team with a time of 25:50.9 for 47th. Jay Wood followed with a run of 26:10.1 to take home 53rd, and Ethan Wampler followed with a mark of 26:25.8 for 62nd. Klay Grant posted a time of 26:27.2 to claim 66th, and Luke Meyer closed the top five on the team with a run of 26:31.8 for 69th. 

The women totaled 279 points to claim ninth, while the men posted a point total of 297 to take 10th. The two teams will be back in action as they travel to Lubbock, Texas to take part in the NCAA South Central Regional Championships on November 4th.
