SAINT AUGUSTINE, FL- The Cougars headed to Florida to take part in the Flagler Fall Slam October 23-24. In their last Invite of the fall season, CCU finished in 11th as they now take a few months to prepare for the spring season.
ROUND ONE
Raya Schulz led off the first round with a 74 to lead her team on the first day of competition. Makenna Brown followed with a 78, while Mary Beth Doss and Kylee Hughes each carded 81s. Anna Mettler finished with an 83 as the team headed into round two.
ROUND TWO
Schulz finished with a 79 as she tied for 23rd overall at the tournament. Doss also shot a 79, tying for 44th overall. Hughes carded another 81 to tie for 51st, while Brown shot an 87 to tie for 61st. Mettler did not card a second round score as the team came in 11th overall.
After rounds of 314 and 326, the Cougars totaled a score of 640 to claim 11th.
Colorado Christian now has a long break between the fall and spring season, and they will resume play at the Fujikura Invitational in California at Shadowridge Golf Club in Vista March 11-12.
