LAKEWOOD, CO- Colorado Christian athletics kicked off their Excellence for an Audience of One Facility Campaign in October at their annual Hall of Fame Banquet. Thanks to several generous donations, the total money raised sits at 4.7 million dollars and counting.

The men's and women's soccer teams are in need of a field to call their own, and included in the plans for the new facility is a state of the art soccer stadium with the first turf owned by CCU Athletics with the Cougar logo on it. This new field will be tremendous for both the women's and men's programs as they will be able to compete and practice on the state of the art turf, a stark difference from the aged turf at Trailblazer Stadium where the teams currently practice and play. CCU Alumnus Scott and Donna Miller have generously announced they will be spearheading a 2 million dollar challenge match, meaning every dollar given up to the 2 million dollar mark will be matched. Scott, the owner of Interstate Batteries, played on the men's soccer team at CCU and will now have his name on the new turf thanks to his extremely generous donation. 

Women's soccer players Breenalyn Shimabukuro and Jessie Sims, men's soccer players Adrian Diez and Kyan Cameron, Director of Soccer Brad Camp alongside President Eric Hogue, Athletic Director Brian Wall and all of CCU Athletics would like to offer their sincere thanks to all who have donated and will donate in the future to this life-changing campaign.
