GOLDEN, CO - The Colorado Christian University Cougars track and field team displayed
exceptional performance at the recent Colorado Mines Mini Meet in Golden, CO. The Cougars
showed their prowess in various events, securing top finishes and setting impressive times.
In the 200m event,
Hannah George displayed her speed, finishing in an impressive second place
with a time of 25.46. In the 400m event,
Molly Miller delivered a solid performance, clocking in
at 1:01.05.
In the middle distance,
Michelle Kuipers set a top meet time of 2:13.84 in the 800m event,
earning her a well-deserved spot at the forefront of the competition.
Benisa Ellis finished in 7th
place with a time of 2:25.68. Norah Thompson and
Callie Ketner also delivered great
performances, securing top 10 finishes in a competitive field.
In the 1500m event,
Elizabeth Mattson finished with an impressive 4th place with a time of
18:37.41.
Alayna Wallace also secured a commendable 7th place finish.
The Cougars' coach, along with the team, expressed their satisfaction with the results and praised
the athletes' hard work, dedication, and determination. The exceptional performances at the
Colorado Mines Mini Meet are a testament to the Cougars' commitment to excellence and their
strong presence in the track and field arena.
