LAKEWOOD, CO- The Golf Coaches Association of America announced their All America list on Tuesday, and Xavier Bighaus has been named a 2023 Division II Ping Honorable Mention All America. 

The sophomore from Melissa, Texas had quite the season for the Cougars, and he played a large part in the teams' successes throughout the year. Bighaus started with a fourth place finish at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational, and he did not slow down from there. He took fourth again at the Las Vegas Desert Classic as he led his team to victory over 5 top 10 teams nationally. 

He then turned in another stellar performance at the Southern CO Masters, claiming third place as the team won consecutive tournaments for the first time in program history. He closed out a wonderful year with a blistering three rounds at the RMAC Championships, claiming the individual title for his first collegiate victory in dominant fashion. Bighaus was a strong force for the team all year long, and he has been honored for his incredible efforts throughout the season.
