LAKEWOOD, CO- The Cougars returned to their home course at Bear Creek Country Club to take part in the Bob Writz Individual Sunday and Monday. A pair of top 10 performances highlighted the two days as all eight players on the roster competed.
ROUND ONE
Tyler Debruyckere led his team in the first round as he fired off a strong 72 at the difficult course.
Camron Reddell shot a 77, and
Lance Christensen Jr. carded a 79.
Cameron Cantillana shot a 76, while
Peyton Jones finished with an 80.
Carson Gylling finished with an 85, and
Todd Tabor posted an 86.
Daniel Gorman closed the first round with an 88.
ROUND TWO
Reddell closed with a 74 as he tied for ninth place overall. Debruyckere shot a 79 as he tied his teammate for ninth. Christensen Jr. shot a 76 as he tied for 18th, while Cantillana carded a 79 to tie for 18th as well. Jones finished with a 76 as he tied for 21st place overall. Gylling had a final round 79 to tie for 30th, and Tabor shot a 79 as he tied for 32nd. Gorman closed with a 90 as he claimed 34th place.
Colorado Christian close the fall season with a trip to Hawaii to take place in the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate October 21-22 at the Mauna Lani-North Golf Course.
