Cougars Move up to #24 Heading into RMAC Championships

LAKEWOOD, CO- The final regular season national and regional rankings for men's golf have been announced by Clippd and the NCAA, and the Cougars find themselves up to #24 in the country and ninth in the South Central Region.

After claiming their first team title at the Sam Proal Invite March 30-31 against a number of ranked foes, CCU find themselves ranked higher than they have been since the preseason at #24. Peyton Jones claimed his third individual title and first of the spring season to lead his team to victory and make a statement as the Cougars head into the RMAC championships.

The team has been building momentum all season, culminating in their victory the final week of the regular season. With five top 3 finishes and a scoring average of 288.2, the Cougars hold a record of 80-28-1. Through 22 total rounds, CCU has shown they are a team to be reckoned with as they head into postseason play.

The Cougars have won back-to-back RMAC Championships, and they will look to make it three straight when they take on a strong field of competition April 19-21 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.
