AMARILLO, TX- The Cougars headed to Texas to take part in the West Regional Preview September 30- October 1. The team battled hard as they finished in 11th place overall after the three rounds of play. 

ROUND ONE 
Mary Beth Doss started out with a 76 as she carded three birdies. Hannah Martin sank a pair of birdies to finish with a 76 as well, and Raya Schulz posted a 79. Makenna Brown and Elliana McKinley each posted 82s to close the round. 

Kylee Hughes and Anna Mettler competed as individuals, carding scores of 77 and 80 respectively. 

ROUND TWO
McKinley was strong in round two, shooting one over par with a 72, while Doss shot a 75. Schulz carded a 77 and Brown finished with a 79. Martin posted an 82 to close the round. 

Mettler posted a 79 while Hughes scored an 82. 

ROUND THREE 
Doss closed with a 79 to claim 35th overall at the tournament. Brown posted a 74 followed by Martin with a 77 as the duo tied for 51st overall. An 81 from Schulz gave her 60th, while McKinley shot an 87 to take 65th. 

Mettler fired an 83 to claim 71st, while Hughes carded an 85 for 74th place. 

Overall, the Cougars shot a total of 927 to claim 11th place overall. 

Colorado Christian will close the fall season in Florida October 21-11 at the Flagler Fall Slam in St. Augustine hosted at Marsh Creek Country Club.
