SAINT AUGUSTINE, FL- The Cougars traveled to Florida for their final tournament of the fall season as they competed at the Flagler Fall Slam hosted at Marsh Creek Country Club. The team competed hard as they closed 2024, claiming 9th place while Raya Schulz earned a 10th place finish. 

ROUND ONE 
Schulz began the tournament with a 77, sinking two birdies along the way. Elliana McKinley posted an 81 followed by Kylee Hughes with an 82. Mary Beth Doss fired off an 83, while Makenna Brown carded an 86. 

Anna Mettler competed as an individual and finished the first round with an 88. 

ROUND TWO
Schulz closed strong with a 73, tallying two birdies as she claimed 10th place overall. Hughes carded a 78 to claim 40th, while Doss posted a 79 to take 48th. Brown had a good round with a 77 as she sank a birdie to come in 50th. McKinley shot an 85 to finish in 55th. 

Mettler posted a final round score of 83 as she ended up in 59th. 

The team claimed ninth overall as they shaved 16 strokes off their round one score in the second round. 

The team is done for the fall and will take the rest of the fall and winter to prepare for the spring season. The first tournament of 2025 will take place in San Antonio, Texas at the St. Mary;s Rattler Invitational February 24-25.
