LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced their week 10 golfer of the week honors, and for the third time this season,
Adam Duncan has nabbed the award following a stellar two tournaments.
The Cougars headed to Arizona and were nothing short of spectacular as they won back-to-back tournaments and vaulted to #6 in the national rankings. Duncan was a huge part of that success as he claimed a tie for second in their first tournament followed by a tie for ninth in their second straight win at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic.
Adam began at the Hot Dirt Desert Shootout with a 70 on five birdies in round one followed by a 68 on another five birdies in round two. The -6 effort gave Duncan a tie for second place as CCU won their first tournament of the spring. Adam continued his excellent play in the three-round RJGA Palm Valley Classic a few days later. He began with a 71 while sinking four birdies before he carded a second round score of 68 on six birdies. He closed with a 69 on another six birdies to close inside the top-10 in a tie for ninth. With back-to-back victories in hand as a team and consecutive finishes inside the top-9, Duncan moved up to #6 nationally in the individual rankings. Through five rounds, Adam sunk an astounding 26 birdies as he displayed an incredible amount of skill and consistency.
