TUCSON, AZ- Colorado Christian began play in Arizona March 31- April 1 at the WT Desert Invite played at The Lodge at Ventana Canyon. CCU battled hard through two rounds of play and claimed 12th place overall among the 19 teams competing. 

ROUND ONE 
Kylee Hughes paced the team on day one as she carded an 81 to begin the tournament. Raya Schulz came next with an 85, and Makenna Brown shot an 86. Mary Beth Doss closed with an 87, and Hannah Martin posted a 98. 

ROUND TWO
Schulz had a stellar final round, carding a 73 with four birdies as she climbed the leaderboard to tie for 12th overall. Hughes fired a 79 to claim a tie for 20th, and Doss and Brown shot an 86 and 87 respectively as the pair tied for 71st. Martin finished with a 92 to close tied for 96th. 

As a team, the Cougars shot a total of 664 (339, 325) to close in 12th place overall out of the 19 teams participating. 

CCU will compete in their final tournament before the RMAC Championships as they take part in the RJGA Palm Valley Classic at Palm Valley Golf Course April 4-5.
