After taking over the program as Interim Head Coach of Women's Basketball for the 2024-25 season, Carissa Ratliff has now officially been named as Head Coach of the program.
 
Ratliff stepped into the interim role in October of 2024, leading the team to a number of impressive wins and competitive outcomes. Under her leadership, three athletes were given All Conference Honorable Mention following the season.
 
"We've seen firsthand what Ratliff brings to this team, and we're excited for what the future holds with her officially at the helm," said Athletic Director, Jon Poag.
 
She previously served as the assistant coach for the Cougars from 2019-2021 and is looking forward to the upcoming 2025-26 season.
