LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their Outdoor Track & Field athletes of the week on Wednesday, and after winning the 10k at the Kit Mayer Classic, Matthew Storer has earned his first honor of the outdoor season. 

Storer was in great form in Golden as he participated in the 10,000m at the Kit Mayer Classic. Matt was excellent throughout as he maintained a great pace and made his way to the front of the field. The 10-time All-American showed his skill as he fended off the field and won the race at the line with an altitude-converted time of 28:48.39. The time now puts Storer at sixth on the NCAA Provisional Qualifying List as he has already thrown down an impressive seed time early in the season.
