BOULDER CITY, NV- Colorado Christian headed to Nevada April 20-22 to take part in the RMAC Championships at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The Cougars fought admirably throughout the three rounds of play, tying for second place as Makenna Brown claimed medalist honors with a fifth place finish. 

ROUND ONE 
It was an excellent round one for the Cougars as three players shot an even par 72 including Brown, Raya Schulz and Kylee Hughes. Brown netted five birdies to pace her team. Mary Beth Doss came next with a 75, and Anna Mettler posted a 79 to close day one. 

ROUND TWO
Schulz delivered another 72 on Monday as she stayed near the top of the leaderboard. Hughes fired a 74, and Brown and Doss both carded 75s. Mettler shot a 79 as the final day of play approached. 

ROUND THREE
Brown was excellent yet again on day three, firing another even par 72 with three birdies as she claimed medalist honors with a fifth place finish overall. A 74 from Hughes and a 76 from Schulz saw the teammates tie for sixth place at the tournament. Doss closed with a 78 and Mettler posted an 87 to close play at the championships. 

The Cougars shot an overall score of 887 (291, 296, 300) to tie for second place overall. 

CCU will now await their fate and hope for an at-large bid to Regionals as they look to make their third appearance there.
