DENVER, CO- Cross Country continued their season with their second meet on Saturday at the Roadrunners Invitational at Washington Park. The women claimed 6th place while the men took 5th overall.
The ladies began in the 6k with
Alysia Wagner leading the way with a 23:00.79.
Rachel Harpt ran a 23:16.23, and
Lorelei Daugherty finished with a 23:32.65.
Nora Thompson closed with a 23:51.95, while
Kaylie Bookout finished with a 24:01.27.
Sophia Graber,
Grace McDevitt, Ava Maginity,
Mari Calene,
Emma Flowers,
Molly Wilkinson and
Kara Krulick all competed to close the second meet of the season.
The men closed in the 8k and were led by
Klay Grant with a 25:55.98.
Isaac Roberts ran a 26:16.24, while
Mateo Luna ran a 26:26.05.
Tyler Schwarz closed with a 26:39.37, and
Nico Ramirez finished with a 26:49.84.
Colden Welsh,
Clayton Ackley,
Drew Stilson and
Mason Gansz all participated also as meet two of the season came to a close.
The Cougars will now gear up for the prestigious Lewis Crossover in Romeoville, Illinois on October 11.
