LAKEWOOD, CO – Looking forward to his second season at the helm, Colorado Christian men's soccer head coach Brad Camp added five more incoming commits to the roster for the 2020 campaign.
"I am really pleased to announce the second wave of recruits for 2020. I have been working extremely hard to find players that would fit with and contribute to our Colorado Christian men's soccer family in my first 15 months here," Camp said. "All of these guys hit that mark, and I have high expectations for all of them. It will be hard work, but the future is very bright for each one of these guys."
The five newcomers will join a pair of twins from Minnesota which were added during the late fall/early winter signing period. Camp expects to add a few more newcomers before August preseason practices begin.
Evan Dayton
After a solid prep career at Peninsula High School (WA), the midfielder comes to the Rocky Mountain region. He was a three-time all-conference selection while helping the Seahawks to the post season on three occasions; including two appearances in the state tournament. Despite not having a senior season because of the COVID-19 pandemic, he helped the team to a 31-12-7 overall record. Dayton scored 12 goals and tallied six assists in three seasons.
Camp on Dayton: "Evan immediately impressed me when I saw him live. I think in that game he scored from a free kick, and added a lot on the other side of the ball too. We are really glad to have him, and expect he will have many games like that for us."

Caiden Dixon
The defender joins the Cougars program after a successful prep stint at nearby Mountain Vista High School. He started every game, and didn't come out of any games, in his last three seasons with the Golden Eagles. Dixon earned first-team all-conference honors three times and was the team captain for two seasons. In the classroom he excelled as well; earning academic all-state honors twice. Outside of his high school accolades, Dixon plays Real Colorado's ECNL team. He plans on being a Criminal Justice major at Colorado Christian.
Camp on Dixon: "Caiden brings with him a background of training under excellent coaches, and it shows. His mentality is exactly what I want here. Aggressive, competitive, and really wants to get better. Really glad to have another local player here in our program."
Elijah Donaho
A two-sport student-athlete J. Frank Dobie High School in the Lone Star State, he was a key part in helping the Longhorns to a 60-3-8 record. They won the district championship four times; in 2017 they reached the state 6A semifinals. Individually Donaho earned all-district honors twice. In addition to his success on the soccer pitch, he was also a member of the cross country team. Donaho plans to major in Exercise Science at Colorado Christian.
Camp on Donaho: "We chased Eli for a while, and for good reason. He has an excellent character off the field, and has a lot to offer on it. Confidence, athleticism, and technical ability are the things we can expect to see from him."
Michael Mote
A standout at Prospect Ridge Academy in Broomfield (CO), he was the first student-athlete to play at the varsity level during their four years at the school. Mote was the Miners team captain in each of his final three prep seasons. He was an all-league performer during his junior and senior campaigns. He was also a four-time honor roll member while scoring 19 goals on the pitch.
Camp on Mote: "I was so pleased to get another local player here like Michael. I love the competitiveness he shows on the field, and although he is smaller, he never lets that effect his play in a negative way. He is another player that really fits what we are trying to do here both on and off the field."
Gabe Roloff
After putting up great offensive numbers during his prep career at Morrison Academy in Taiwan, he joins his brother, Grant, in a Cougars uniform this fall. While with the Mustangs he scored 111 goals and recorded 61 assists. During his senior campaign he found the back of the net a school record 33 times and was named team MVP. He was a two-time ACSC (Asia Christian Schools Conference) selection. In addition to his soccer ability he played basketball and volleyball in addition to running track.
Camp on Roloff: "With his size and athleticism, he has a lot of potential. I see him scoring goals, linking play, and making life miserable for opposing back fours. Grant, Gabe's brother, is such a fine young man, and I am glad that they will be able to play in college together."
