Steinhauer FieldhouseÂ
With a reputation for having a fast track and an elevation of more than 5,700' above sea level, Steinhauer is one of the top indoor running destinations in the nation during the winter season. Built in 1937 and one of the oldest indoor track & field facilities in the nation, Steinhauer features a four-lane 200m Mondo Super X track that was resurfaced in 2014. The surface also supports a six-lane 60m straightaway and field areas in a variety of configurations. The fieldhouse also features an in-house FinishLynx automatic timing system. Steinhauer Fieldhouse hosted the 2018 RMAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Mountain Lion FieldhouseÂ
Located at the base of the iconic Pulpit Rock in one of the most beautiful settings in the Rocky Mountains, Mountain Lion Fieldhouse offers one of the finest indoor track and field facilities in the NCAA. Â The Fieldhouse boasts a 200 meter, 18 meter radius track oval with eight sprint lanes, two long/triple jump pits and a pole vault pit on the infield of the oval. Â The facility also includes a large, caged area for the shot put and weight throw located on the south end of the facility. Â The facility is the home of the UCCS Track & Field and Cross Country programs and is located at exactly 6,291 feet in elevation. It has the 2020 RMAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.Â
