WICHITA FALLS, TX- The Cougars headed back to Texas to take part in the Midwestern State Invitational October 10-11. CCU took tenth place out of 16 teams competing at the invite, filled yet again with many top teams. 

ROUND ONE
Xavier Bighaus, the reigning RMAC Golfer of the Week, continued his hot play with a 70 on the par 71 course to start things off one under par with four birdies. Camron Reddell posted a strong score as well, matching his teammate with a 70 on four birdies as well. Dylan Arthur posted a 73 while Adam Duncan carded a 74. Zach Slayton closed with a 75 to finish round one play.

Peyton Jones and Cameron Sandland competed as individuals, both posting strong scores of 71 to go even on the round. Sandland recorded five birdies while Jones put up four. 

ROUND TWO
Duncan led in round two as he posted a 70 with five birdies on the round. Bighaus and Arthur each were even par with a 71. Slayton put up a 75 while Reddell carded a 76.

Jones carded a 72 and Sandland posted a 76 to close out the second round. 

ROUND THREE
Reddell was excellent in the final round, tallying a 69 for two under par as he finished in a tie for 17th to lead his team. Duncan tied for 45th with a 76 while Bighaus shot a 77 for a tie for 32nd. Slayton shot a 78 for a 74th place finish while Arthur carded a 79 to tie for 55th.

Jones was solid again with a 73 to tie for 25th, while Sandland posted an 82 to take 75th. 

As a team, CCU shot a total of 874 with rounds of 287, 287 and 300 to finish in tenth place of the 16 teams competing.
