NORMAN, OK- The Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Preseason Coaches' Poll was released on Friday, and after making it to consecutive National Title matches, the Cougars start the season at #8 in the top 25 poll. 

The last two seasons were historic for Colorado Christian as the Cougars ascended the mountaintop of DII golf to conclude the 2023-24 season, winning the schools' first NCAA National Championship. They followed that up in 2024-25 with the best regular season in the history of DII, winning every single tournament at the division two level and claiming the Regional title as they rolled into Nationals. They pushed their way all the way to a second straight National Title match before falling just barely in a tiebreaking final hole to claim National Runners Up. 

This season brings a new look to the team as first year Head Coach Cameron Sandland enters a team with a history of greatness and looks to build them back to where they were. With two returners and six new players, the task will be tall, but the Cougars will look to remain in the national conversation and turn heads yet again in the 2025-26 season. 

CCU begin their season at the Travis Roy Memorial hosted by South Dakota Mines September 15-16 at the Powderhorn Golf Club in Sheridan, Wyoming.
