LAKEWOOD, CO- After an incredible run in the 10k to open the Outdoor Season at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Early Bird Invite in Pueblo, Matthew Storer has been named the RMAC Track Athlete of the Week.
Storer took first in the distance event with a time of 29:51.56, sending him to the top of the NCAA provisional qualifying time list. The impressive run also marked a bit of history for Storer, as it is now the second fastest 10k ever run on Colorado Soil. Making the run even more impressive, Storer was just a week removed from taking fifth in the 5k at the Indoor Track & Field National Championships to be named an All American for the second in his career at CCU.
Storer is showing no signs of slowing down as he heads into the outdoor track season. Congratulations to Matthew Storer on being named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week!
