LAKEWOOD, CO- The Cougars are on an absolute tear, and after a pair of victories in Arizona that saw four players place in the top 11 out of over 100 competing golfers in two tournaments in a row, CCU moves up two spots to #6 in the nation. This is the highest ranking the program has ever received and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team and coaches for men's golf.

Mark Hull's team has been clicking on all cylinders this spring, placing fourth in their first tournament before claiming back-to-back victories in Arizona. At the Hot Dirt Desert Shootout, the team shot 10 under par over two rounds on their way to a four stroke victory over now #7 DBU. The next tournament was record breaking for the Cougars, as they set the all-time program record for lowest round, lowest single day total and lowest overall tournament score as they fired a scorching hot score of 827 over three rounds. The total sent the team 37 under par to shatter the record by nearly 20 strokes.
Colorado Christian is playing their best golf of the year, and people are noticing the elite level at which they are playing. The Cougars will look to do something never done before as they go for three straight wins at the Southern Colorado Masters April 15-16 hosted at the Pueblo Country Club.
