LAKEWOOD, CO- Colorado Christian just won their first RMAC Tournament Championship in program history, and for their incredible efforts in Boulder City, the team has moved up a spot to #5 in the nation in the latest NCAA Rankings. The ranking is the highest the program has ever received in its' history.
The Cougars just wrapped up a memorable week as they shot an impressive 30 under par to claim the first RMAC Championship title in program history.
Adam Duncan claimed the individual title by going 13 under par, while
Xavier Bighaus claimed fifth, followed by
Dylan Arthur and
Bradley Mulder in a tie for eighth.
Peyton Jones wrapped up play with a tie for 15th as CCU dominated the field to win by nine strokes at the Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The team has remained focused on their goals all season, and their consistency of maintaining excellence all season long has been nothing short of incredible. They will now head to the NCAA West/South Central Super Regionals in Las Cruces, New Mexico May 9-11 as they look to punch their tickets to the National Championships.
