LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their First Team Academic All-RMAC selections on Thursday, and after a stellar season and excellent performance in the classroom,
William Brassil has earned the distinction.
The graduate student boasted an impressive 3.87 GPA in Science marketing during his undergrad and currently holds a 3.91 mark in his Masters of Business Administration. The native of Broomfield, Colorado compiled a great line with an average of .352 and an OPS of 1.090. Slugging for .673 in 162 at-bats, Will tied the team high with 13 homers as he brought in 34 runs on 57 hits. Playing in all but one game this season, Brassil could always be counted on to provide the big hit, walking off Mines in their final homestand and obliterating balls out of the yard on a routine basis. In right field, Will caught 33 balls and registered 33 putouts with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage as he bolstered the corner outfield position well.
Congratulations to
William Brassil on being named First Team Academic All-RMAC!
