LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their Golfer of the Week on Thursday, and after a tremendous start to his collegiate career with a second place overall finish,
Jude Robbins has earned the distinction from the conference.
Robbins was outstanding all tournament long as the Cougars opened the season at the Travis Roy Memorial at Powderhorn Golf Club in Sheridan, Wyoming. The freshman showed no nerves in his first college tourney, firing an opening round 69 with an impressive seven birdies. He followed with an even better round the next day, firing a bogey free round of 67 with five birdies. Jude closed with a 74 as he sank another three birdies en route to an overall score of six-under par and a second place finish at the tournament. The incredible efforts from Robbins helped his team secure the victory by four strokes as they started the season with a win.
