One of Colorado Christian’s most recognizable and accomplished athletes, Aimee Davison entered CCU as a freshman in the fall of 1994, adding to a young, strong team that would catapult Cougar volleyball from a local curiosity to a national contender.

Over the next four years, Davison went on to set the CCU single game and single season record in blocks. She also led the conference in blocks per game, placed in the top five for blocks nationally, and earned athletic all-conference and academic all-conference honors in three out of her four years as a player. Aimee is currently perched atop the CCU record books in an astounding eight statistical categories.

Following graduation Aimee re-joined Cougar Athletics in a full time capacity as Assistant Volleyball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director. Her administrative and athletic experience culminated in 2004 when—ten short years after joining the program as a freshman—Davison became the Head Coach for women’s volleyball.

On the court and in the office, Aimee was as devoted as she was talented. She poured her life into the program and was considered one of the most important and influential figures in CCU Athletics.
