Joe Diedrich had an illustrious career on the men’s soccer team at Colorado Christian, as he came through for his team when they needed him most time and time again. 

Diedrich played for the Cougars from 1996-1999, and he left an indelible mark on the program. Throughout his time at CCU, Joe set his teammates up for goals while scoring many himself. Diedrich is currently first in career assists for CCU with 22, including an impressive 12 his freshman year. He sits at fourth in all time goals with 17, while he sits at fourth in points scored as well with 56. His 12 assists in the 1996 season still holds a record to this day as the most in a single season in program history. To cap off an historical time at CCU, Diedrich made his name known in the RMAC as he received First Team All Conference Honors all four years he played for the Cougars. Diedrich’s name can be found throughout the record books for men’s soccer, and he surely is one of the best players the program has ever seen.
