A native of Big Timber, Montana, 2000 Wendy’s Heisman Player Lance Goeddel joined Colorado Christian Basketball in the fall of 2000. On the verge of becoming the anchor of some of CCU’s most successful teams of all time, Goeddel proved a force to be reckoned from the first moment he put on a Cougar uniform.
After receiving All-Conference honors at the close of his freshman season, the 6-7 forward would go on to earn three more post-season All-RMAC picks in addition to a Pre-Season All Conference selection in 2002.
Lance solidified his place in the CCU record books after 104 games and 96 starts for Colorado Christian. Impressively, his stats over four years landed him in the top five of eight of CCU’s career categories, including points, field goals, free throws, steals, rebounds, and rebounds per game.
Lance earned his degree in Business in 2004, and married his wife Amy, a stand-out for CCU Volleyball, in May of 2005.
