Hall of Fame
A three sport athlete and one of the most talented individuals to ever wear a CCU uniform, Tammy McPherson, then Wishard joined the Cougars in the fall of 1995. Tammy’s combination of speed, skill, and unmatched endurance earned her a spot as one of only three freshman starters on a very competitive Women’s Soccer team. In her first year as a collegiate athlete, Tammy notched a team-high five goals and seven assists, while earning First Team All-Conference and the Colorado Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year Award.
Over the course of her career, Wishard would go on to earn four first team all-conference nods, while ranking 1st all-time at CCU in single season points, 2nd in single season goals, 2nd in single season assists, 1st in career points, 1st in career assists, and 2nd all-time for career goals scored.
When not dominating opponents on the soccer field, Wishard secured a spot in the regular rotation for the CCU Women’s Basketball team and even ran Cross Country during her senior year, where she won first place in an RMAC event hosted at Kent-Denver.
Coach McPherson is married to her husband Dave and is in her 10th season as the Head Women's Soccer Coach.
