Joining Cougar Athletics in the fall of 1998, Erin Brunelle kicked off a career that would rank her among the top women’s soccer players in the history of CCU.

As a freshman, the 5’9” forward from Diamond Bar, California, started all 20 games, while finishing second on the team and top-10 in the RMAC with seven goals scored. The fabulous freshman capped off her exceptional rookie season with a First Team All-RMAC selection and the women’s soccer team’s first-ever RMAC Freshman of the Year award.

With the foundation set for a brilliant career, Erin combined for another 21 goals, 54 points and 12 assists, while starting in all 58 games over the next three years.

During her stay with the Cougars, Brunelle totaled four consecutive First Team All-RMAC awards and two First Team All-Region nods. She was named the 2000-01 RMAC Player of the Year, earned the 2001 Cougar Athletics Senior Award and ranks top-five at CCU in six single-season and career statistical categories.
